Thank you to the Pasadena Fire Department who donated nice toys for the children in need.  When we delivered them, their faces lit up with joy.  We prayed with them and their families.  They had joy because someone cared.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to make this outreach possible.  We have made many deliveries.  Regina, a single mother with four children living in a one bedroom apartment and working for minimum wage received a color TV, toys for Christmas for her children and winter coats and shoes.  Judy's family of five who are living in a garage with no heat, received clothes, coats, toys, a comforter set with pillows  and we will be delivering her heater this week.  Brandy's family of six who live in a small studio apartment received a new comforter set, toys for Christmas, an infant seat for her 3 month old son, blankets for him and clothes for the other children ages 4, 7 and 11.  They still need coats and shoes.  We are still receiving donations and there many families we have not reached yet who have requested assistance and are in dire need.  We will continue the outreach to meet their spiritual and physical needs.

Thank you to everyone who has given and is giving to make this outreach possible.  May God bless you richly with His blessings.

"Let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God."   1 John 4:7

Below is one of the emails that we received that I have cut and pasted:
"Hi my name is judy I am 28 yrs. old married 8 yrs. I have 3 wonderful kids a girl 7 yrs. old a boy 4 yrs. old and a little boy 1 yr. we have been struggling  so much I have over a year without working due to several surgeries and having another one in February.   My husband got his hours lowered from 40 a week to 25 we sometimes don't have enough for rent our car's plates have expired we don't have money to pay them I would have love to buy my kids a gift for X-Mas but we are behind on rent.   I got a tree donated to us,  I would like to ask for any help just with one gift for each child to open Christmas day if possible they would be so happy at this time we are renting a garage due to low income we can't afford more but at less we have a roof over our heads.  I hope to hear from you.   thank you. "
God touched the Pasadena Fire Department Cheif to donate more thna enough nice toys for Judy's family to be blessed with the desire of her heart.  We were able to bless her family with more than just the wonderful toys for her children.  We brought many other items they needed as well.  Most importantly, we brought the love of Jesus Christ our Saviour into their home.  He met their needs this Christmas!

Jesus said, "And whoso shall receive one such little child in My name receiveth Me."  Matthew 18:5

HELP THE RAMIREZ CHILDREN STAY WARM THIS WINTER

Thank you to Teen Project, Lauri Burns founder for responding to the following article and sponsering Vanessa's family!  God bless you for the great work you are doing to help so many!

Vanessa contacted our ministry for help when her family of seven sisters, ranging in age from four years old to twenty six years old were devastated by the death of their mother.  Their father had recently also passed away.  With the burden to care for all of her sisters, Vanessa being the eldest began the battle to obtain legal custody of the children while trying to keep a roof over their heads in one small house, food on the table and clothes and shoes on their feet.  At twenty-six years old, Vanessa has been forced to grow up quickly and assume the full responsibility of being a mother and father to her siblings.  She did not want to see them separated and sent to foster homes.

At Thanksgiving, we brought them a meal.  We felt the need to do more.  They are struggling financially.  Their situation is not caused by any poor decisions or by choice, it is purely circumstantial.  It could happen to any of us.  Would you please help us help them this Christmas?  We would like to pay their utility bills this Christmas and buy them some much needed clothing and shoes.

CREATING A CIRCLE OF BLESSINGS

We believe in helping people in need.  We believe our outreach ministry is God's hand extended.  Tony, a 25 year old cancer patient is one example of how God is creating a  circle of blessings in His provision, touching many souls.

Tony is unable to work due to the cancer and still has the responsibility to care for his 2 year old son while his wife works at a retail store.  With only one small income, it is difficult.  The physical challenges of caring for a 2 year old while he is in incredible pain is beyond challenging.  The financial challenges are overwhelming as well.  This is where God sent us and began meeting Tony's needs. We met him when we delivered a sofa to him and saw his great physical needs, him caring for his son and the debilitated condition of his apartment.  The carpet was a health hazard to him and his two year old who was crawling on it.   He had not been approved for Medi-Cal yet and could not afford his medical cost.  He could not even afford the pain medication for his cancer, which is so necessary in coping.  We were able to receive a donation of $200 for Tony's medication from Connie and Esther who responded to an email.  They did not have an excess of money but could not live with the thought of Tony being without his medication.  Their blessing will be great!  What a blessing to meet such women of noble character!  Then, we posted an ad for help with cleaning the carpet and God sent Queenie, who has very little extra money due to her five year battle with cancer.  She is still struggling to pay some of her exhorbitant medical costs wich her insurance did not cover.  We are praying to receive donations to help her with this.  She has been diagnosed with bone cancer and is undergoing radiation but God has given her the strength to get her business back and begin rebuilding her Senior Care/Alzheimer/Dementia care services where she also does Hospice Care.  What a great woman of faith!  We then found a carpet service willing to donate over 1/2 of the cost of restoring and sanitizing the carpet by calling and asking them.  Queenie delivered the check to Tony for the carpet, along with food (she runs the kitchen at her church).  She prayed for him.  We were there and prayed for both of their healings!  Robert, who owns the carpet company saw the situation and prayed for Tony as well when he went to do the estimate. Most of the carpet needs to be replaced as he reported it is the worst he has ever seen. Then, a very nice man donated a beautiful piece of carpet for the room that had only plywood on the floor (it is where Tony's sister lives with them- she has Lupus).  Next, he offered for his family to sponsor Christmas for Tony's family!  Then the circle of blessing continued.  Randy, who I shared Tony's story with immediately wrote a check to Queenie who had paid for the carpet to reimburse her!  He also donated a new roll of carpet to install.  Queenie then donated the check that Randy had given to her- to her to purchase food to feed the homeless at Thanksgiving!  Then, Carlos offered to donate his time with his carpet installation business to install the carpet, providing his crew and the padding.  The carpet will go into Tony's sister's room, who lives with them and has Lupus......The circle of blessing continues to grow......

The circle never ends........................

"Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, Love never ends...."   1 Cor. 13:6-8

See how God creates a circle of blessings through one act of faith and love?  Many prayers in this circle have been said and immediately answered.  Praise God for his love for us and the love He pours out through the hearts of those willing to give.  Thank you, Lord for your instruments and messengers of your Grace!

One act of love and giving can give another person hope.........
