Elton's Prayers Are Heard
It was raining in Orange County a few days ago, a rare occurrence.  I went out to Target to buy a frame for a picture we have of the names of Jesus.  My son, Josiah, bundled up in my arms, we braved the weather, running quickly toward the door of the store.  I could see a man with a Target shirt on standing outside.  The Lord spoke to me in a still, small voice and told me to stop and talk to that man!  This is not something you do in Orange County.  I started to walk  past him a few steps and the Lord tugged on my heart.  I looked at him and said, "How are you?"  He began to open up immediately.  His name was Elton.  He began telling me he had been crying out to the Lord.  He had been a senior financial adviser for a mortgage company and with the recent fall had lost his job.  He was now working at Target during the day and had a night job as well.  He was sleeping three hours a night and working the rest just to pay his mortgage.  Josiah and I laid hands on him and prayed for a miracle!  The power of God touched Elton and he began to cry.  He said as I was walking up the sidewalk in the distance  with Josiah in my arms, the Lord spoke to him and told him, "Listen to the lady!"  He said he could not take his eyes off of me.  Can you imagine if I had not obeyed the Lord?  Elton's spirit was renewed, for he had proof on that rainy afternoon , that all of his crys to the Lord had been heard!  The Lord had sent me out with Josiah to let Elton know he was on the Lord's mind!  We expect a miracle for him!

"To obey is better than sacrifice..."  1 Samuel 15:22

Tommy's Miracle of Healing of Cancer
I met Tommy six years ago.  He had cancer and at the time was not serving the Lord.  I prayed for him and I will never forget the prayer.  The power of God moved so powerfully through me like lightening as I prayed for him.  After the prayer, our arms were locked and unable to move.   That has never happened to me before of after!  My arm was paralyzed and I could not move it for some time after the prayer. He was also unable to move his arm for quite some time.  Both arms were the arm of the hand we held of each others.  The Lord gave me a prophetic Word for him that included telling him he would be a Warrior for Christ.  The Lord also gave me a scripture for him from the book of Deuteronomy.
Six years after that prayer, Tommy wanted to find me to tell me his testimony but did not know where I was.  He went to my parent's house this Christmas, for that is where the prayer had taken place, and told them he wanted to share with them his testimony.  He has been free of cancer for six years since that prayer.  The Lord also delivered him that night of many bondages and filled him with His Holy Spirit.   He had a complete healing, deliverance and sanctification that night.   He said the prophetic word God gave me had come to pass, word for word in his life and the scripture he lived to this day.  He wanted me to know he is a Warrior for Christ now, just as the Lord had said.  I thank God he took the effort to find me to give me his testimony!  God is faithful!

"They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony..."  Rev. 12:11

Mrs. Alexander's Answered Prayer
Mrs. Alexander needed a miracle last week.  Being a mother of four young children and being laid off of her job,  her family was struggling financially to make it on her husband's income as a dishwasher in an exclusive restaurant.  But she and her husband have great faith!  She and her husband are faithful serving the Lord.   Their family of six live in a two bedroom apartment.  They saw a single mother in need with no employment and no where to go.  They invited her to live with them until she could find employment and save money for a place of her own!  She found employment and was able to move out last week.  The Alexander's put the needs of others above their own comfort even while they were themselves standing in need.  Besides this, every day her husband prays at his job to get through the day.  His employer is always asking him to do additional tasks and he is never compensated for it.  He does his work as unto the Lord and not to men.  People do not realize when they oppress the mighty children of God, their heavenly Father, who made the whole universe sees and will defend them.
Mrs. Alexander had asked us to agree in prayer with her for the job she wanted at a nursing home.  She felt she could be a blessing there and minister to the needs of the residents.  The nursing home had not called back at the beginning of this week and with financial pressure mounting, she decided to take her cousins advice and go apply at her place of employment.  She knew this did not please God, for it was at a casino.  Her cousin had felt pressured into taking the job, since no one else had called her back and since that time was scheduled to work every Sunday, never able to attend church.  In desperation, Mrs. Alexander scheduled the interview knowing in her spirit it was not where God wanted her.  She felt she had no choice!  When she went out to the car on Monday to go to the interview, the car would not start!  This had not happened before.  She made up her mind to wait on the Lord!  She went inside and prayed for the job she knew pleased the Lord.  With no money and no transportation, she and her husband prayed to the Lord for help.  We prayed in faith with them.  Yesterday she notified us, God had been faithful!  Not long after she decided to wait on Him, and not lean on her own understanding, the phone rang and it was the nursing home.  She was offered the job.  She will be salt and light there. to the hurting.  She will be where God wants her.
Now she and her husband are planning to save money to move to a three bedroom for her family of six.  They know God can do anything.  We are agreeing in prayer for them.  Will you pray also?

"Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart;  Wait, I say, on the Lord!"   Psalm 27:14
