Word for the Day May 21

"The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the
Lord shall not lack any good thing." Psalm 34:10
God's promise to His people is that those who seek Him shall not lack
any good thing. Seeking Him is what is done with all of the heart. Your spirit must cry out to His Spirit.
He seeks true worshippers. Without dying to oneself, you can not seek Him. Psalm 10:4 says, "The wicked in
his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts." There is no room for God in his thoughts,
for his thoughts are too full of himself and his ways. Anyone who has not died to themselves is still selfish and living
to please themselves. You must first die to yourself before you can know God. Then when you seek Him, you will
find Him. Psalm 34:10 promises that those who seek Him shall lack no good thing. Seeking Him is what is required
of you.
