Word for the Day December 14 By: Evang. Cascille Hammack "Behold, I will
reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth." Jeremiah 33:6 Jeremiah 3:22 says, "Return, faithless people; I will cure you of backsliding."
"Yes, we will come to you, for you are the LORD our God." " God is faithful to heal, restore and bless
if we will turn to Him. Jeremiah 17:14 says, "Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise." The Lord waits for us to turn to Him with our whole heart. Isaiah 65:2 says,
"All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations--" God is faithful. He will never fail us. He
desires to bless His people. But we must seek Him. We must open the door to our hearts, for He stands and knocks
at the door. Many things in this life knock and demand our attention. The most important knock on the door
of our hearts we can answer is that of Jesus, His calling us to His embrace. Jesus promises us in Revelation 3:20, "Here
I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he
with me." Answer His call today. Open
the door to your heart and humble yourself in His everlasting presence. He promises us in Isaiah 59:1, "Surely
the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear." Open the door of your heart to Him
today.
