Word for the Day December

"It is I who made the earth and created mankind upon it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled
their starry hosts." Isaiah 45:12
The Lord will never fail. We must trust Him with not just the small things in life, but in everything.
Christ has shown us that the fountain of life and our strength is hid in God. Put all things in His hands and offer
them to Him in your heart as a sacrifice. When we cease to want things to be done according to our own judgement
and accept His will, we will be free from anxiety and uneasy retrospect about our lives.
We trust the Lord in managing the universe and all outward creation.
Can your case be more difficult or complex than these that you need to be anxious and troubled about His management of
it? If you have submitted your life in all it's complexities to the Lord, you can rest and trust that He will work in
you all the good pleasure of His will and for His glory. If you have not, begin now. Give every weight to
Him right now. Give Him all of your desires and your plans. Then accept His answer to you. The single prayer
of your heart must be, "Thy will be done." He understands infinitely more than we can imagine of what is best
for us. He knows the end from the beginning.
Trust
Him with all things today. Stop and submit every aspiration and every worry in your heart to Him. Entrust
Him with your will and your life in every detail. You can not live up to your highest calling or attain happiness until
you do this. He promises us in Isaiah 30:18, "Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion.
For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!"
