Word for the Day February 25 Monday

"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome
evil with good." Romans 12:21
As a follower of Christ, we are to live in peace. He leads us in peace. Through Him,
we can overcome all evil with good. Even if we are hurt, he helps us to bless. He also protects us.
There is no enemy too great for heaven or earth that God will not raise up a standard against on behalf of his children.
But we must walk in faith if we are to please Him. Hebrews 11:6 says, "And without faith it is impossible
to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."
In facing the many adversities in life, we must hold fast to faith in Him, not allowing ourselves
to be overcome with evil in this world. Hebrews 10:35,36 explains, "So do not throw away your confidence; it will
be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised. "
Call on Him. He will help you overcome. For He has already overcome every obstacle you will ever face, even death.
He requires only that you believe that His finished work on the cross, shedding His blood for you was a penalty paid in full.
He bore every weakness, sin and suffering you will ever endure in His own body so that you could have complete victory over
all, even victory over death. You must believe. When He had hung on the cross before He died and was raised to
life, He said "It is finished," the penalty was paid in full and your victory was won. Do not let evil overcome
you. The good required to overcome evil is available to all who will ask and that is our precious Savior Jesus.
Ask Him to forgive you of all of your sins and to come into your heart and live in you. He will. He stands at
the door and knocks now. He will give you life. He has already overcome all of your suffering, just believe that
his payment was made for you. Give Him all of you, He gave all for you.
