Word for the Day  March 2 Monday
By;  Evang. Cascille Hammack

"Carry one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."  Galatians 6:2

It is God's plan for believers to help one another and come along side each other when one is burdened by the many trials in life.  The law of Christ is to love one another.  When a believer is heavily burdened and does not share it with a trusted brother or sister in Christ to pray for them, it can be devastating.  The enemy knows that if he can get the believer isolated in such times, depression and oppression will occur.  All alone, the believer becomes overwhelmed and hopeless.  This is very dangerous because it affects not only the one who is burdened and has closed themselves off, it effects everyone.  It is a much larger plan of the enemy.  The whole world will see that this person who represents Christ is despondent and they will say how is Jesus the light of the world if this is what His follower looks like.  The very name of Christ will be discredited in the life of this one servant who has chosen to suffer alone and consequently has become a target of the enemy.  Sheep stay in flocks.  A separated sheep is vulnerable to the attack of wolves.  Followers of Christ are his sheep and He is the Good Shepard.  We are called to live in a flock, or in the body of believers.
You cannot carry your burdens alone.  God did not design it this way.  He has poured His love into the hearts of His children to strengthen one another in such times.  No one in the kingdom of God has been sent to stand alone.  You must trust.  A burden shared is cut in half.  James 5:16 declares, "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.  The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
