Word for the Day March 3 Monday

"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently
for Him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry our their wicked schemes." Psalm 37:7
The righteous must wait on the Lord. When people prosper in spite of their ways that are
opposed to God, the Lord's servant must not try to handle the matter. Steadfastly persevering in faith through the
help of the Holy Spirit, we must wait on the Lord. Waiting on the Lord is not a matter of inactivity. It is waiting
in peace with an expectancy for God to move. God is a God of justice and He will not leave those who oppose Him untouched.
He sees the hearts of all people. Nothing is hidden from his sight.
Paul said in 1 Tim. 1:13,14,
"Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persector and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance
and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ
Jesus." God's power and grace can change the lives of all sinners. We must be patient and allow the Lord
to work in the lives of all who oppose Him.
