Word for the Day March 25 Tuesday

"Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.
He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him." Psalm
126:5,6
When we are broken, the Lord is close to us. Psalm 51:17 says, "The
sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise." In Isaiah 66:2
the Lord declares, "This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at My Word."
The Lord requires brokenness and obedience to Him to sow in prayer and draw near to Him when we are broken. Doing His
will in reaching out to others for Him when we ourselves are broken and in pain pleases Him and He has promised as we do His
work in this state He will reward us with the promise of returning with songs of joy carrying sheaves with us. The joy
is the only true joy that only He can put in our hearts. Nehemiah 8:10 declares, "..the joy of the Lord is your
strength." The sheaves are the successful work done for Him, the souls brought close to Him and delivered from
the powers of darkness.
God is not impressed with buildings made by
humans but He is looking for those who will follow His Word with all of their hearts and at all costs. He is looking
for the faithful. 2 Chron. 16:9 proclaims, "For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those
whose hearts are fully committed to Him..."
