Word for the Day March 27
By; Evang. Cascille Hammack
"For this reason
I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know who I have believed and am persuaded that He is able
to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day."
2 Tim. 1:12
What
have you committed to the Lord? Your life? Your family? Your marriage? Your children? Your future?
Your job? Everything? Once you commit it to Him, you can not be successful in taking it back. You must trust
Him with it. He alone is faithful. After committing, you must trust Him. Sometimes the way seems dark and
a trial comes to test your faith. You must remember what He spoke to you in the light when the darkness comes.
It is your hope in Christ and your faith in Him that will carry you through the dark times. Hope is the rope.
Do not lose hope. Jesus is the only hope. Whatever you have committed to Him, you must release it to Him and trust
Him with it, never wavering when darkness comes. For He will never abandon you. During the trial, remember what
He spoke to you in the light before the trial. Stand on His Word. He will never forsake you! Out of your
coming through the trial, He will give you a testimony to strengthen your brothers and sisters in Christ when you encounter
them going through the same testing. Trust Him and do not be moved by what you see. "He who called you is
faithful, who will also do it." 1 Thes. 5:24
