Word for the Day April 19

"Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live
on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart and
has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, who despises a vile man,
but honors those who fear the Lord, who keeps his oath even when it hurts, who lends money without usury and does not accept
a bribe against the innocent." He who does these things will never be shaken." Psalm 15
There is no fellowship with God without holiness. Acts of unrighteousness, deceit, slander and selfishness
grieve the Holy Spirit and cause God to withdraw His presence. To lose communion with God is to lose everything.
Examine yourself daily and confess your sins, turn from them and seek through Jesus to present yourself to God. 2 Tim
2:15 says, "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who
correctly handles the word of truth." We must be separated from sin and set apart for God. Hebrews 12:14 warns,
"Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy, without holiness no one will see the Lord."
